Controller

Falcon offers various lighting controls based on the LIC. Control means that trigger signals can be processed and the lighting can be operated at the output in Continuous mode, Trigger mode, or Strobe mode. All controllers are capable of providing flicker-free and thus safe image processing.

The LIC series is divided into three areas:

  • Starting with LIC-VA; LIC-CA, which fulfill basic requirements and are easy to integrate into applications.
  • The middle class consists of models LIC-2256, LIC-4256, LIC-8, and LIC-16, measured by technical specifications.
  • New to the range and designed specifically for "Shape from Shading" applications is the LIC-S.

FALCON has developed a controller to expand the product range, which is equipped with solid technology, easy to use, and cost-effective. The result is available from 2019 as LIC-VA.

LIC-S Sequent Controller

To establish Shape from Shading technology at FALCON, the LIC-S was developed. It enables easy entry into "Shape from Shading" and thus offers the possibility of combining features from multiple images into a more meaningful overall image.

LIC-X256N Digital Controller

Light Intensity Control LIC-X256N

Digital PWM-modulated light intensity control for up to 16 LED light sources. The camera transmits trigger moment and exposure time, PLC/SPS regulates the brightness.
